(Note: If this is the wrong spot for this, please move it to the appropriate sub-forum!)

Well, I'm in a huge rut and it seems like any song I try to learn I either can't get the strumming pattern down right, the chords are wrong or I'm doing something wrong...I mean in almost every song I haven't already learned before this started (2-3 months ago). My electric guitar is...dead...right now so that's not an option to go learn something on that to get me back in the spirit.

Now that you know my story, I'm asking for some super basic songs to learn to tell my body that I still know how to play guitar, and I can still play music I like to listen to.

Thanks!

Edit: I do have a capo, so don't let that stop you from posting a song. Also, try to keep it in the indie/alternative genres, thanks!

Do note, I'd like to keep it in the indie/alt genre and not venture into pop-punk/emo

All of my band's songs are acoustic indie stuff.

I'm happy to tell you how to play any of them...

Otherwise, Mayonaise by the Smashing Pumpkins is alot of fun to play on acoustic.
