What are some good seven string or eight string guitars that have either, seymour duncan pickups or EMG pickups;a tremolo that can be pulled up (i.e. floyd rose, kramer) and high qaulity.
Price doesnt matter as i can save up from mowing lawns and odd jobs.As long as its not over $2,000 it's ok.

I want one for the extended scale because im learning to play jazz and i allready play metal(thrash, speed, death, and black metal mainly.)

And lastly, this may sound stupid, but on an 8-string do the strings from low to high go f# b e a d g b e?
I'm hot for the Ibanez RG2228, but I've never had the chance to play it, as none of the guitar shops in my city have it in stock. It's got EMG pickups, but the bridge is fixed, so it might not be what you're looking for.

Not sure about what tunings people use for these guitars, I'll probably try E B E A D G B E if I ever get around to buying one.
It says on Wikipedia that a common tuning is F#,A,D,G,C,F,A,D
Schecter C-1 Classic
Seagull S6
Fender Standard Jazz Bass
Epiphone Valve Junior Combo
You could build your own 7 string or 7 string baritone guitar.

http://www.warmoth.com/guitar/necks/necks.cfm?fuseaction=7string_baritone 7 string baritone neck.
http://www.warmoth.com/guitar/necks/necks.cfm?fuseaction=warmoth_7string 7 string neck.
http://www.warmoth.com/guitar/bodies/7_string.cfm?fuseaction=7s 7 string body #1.
http://www.warmoth.com/guitar/bodies/7_string.cfm?fuseaction=7ct 7 string body #2.

There's all kinds of options for routing and finishing and hardware. Warmoth is pretty much a custom shop.

I believe Conklin is your choice for an 8-string. Look on their website.
