i just got a new video ipod, but whenever i try to put music videos ive downloaded onto it, it sayd the ipod can't support the file type. They were mpg and mpeg. i thought these were standard movie file types??? is there a different file i should be looking for?

Yeah they have to be a special format, I don't know what type it is but you can find the type off of iPod's site.

You can easily conver them though (just takes a while) with videora or something
try ilounge.com

no, its .mp4. It takes FOREVER to convert(which you can do in iTunes itself). If you use limewire or some other p2p(which is bad, because they RIAA says, and no one should EVER do it ), just type in mp4 and youll get a bunch of results
