Yesterday i was playing at my band practice when all of a sudden when i wasn't playing the strings would vibrate a little like they usually do. But then i would hear a slight ringing sound and it would get louder and louder until it was ear piercing. I guess its feedback but it would only happen when i has the amp at 5 or higher. Is there something wrong with my guitar or amp?

that's how feedback works
if you increase the volume on your amp, the feedback will increase
try turning down the gain, or move further away from your amp

WTF.

Well, I have been trying to get that with my cube 30. I love how I can begin a song with that high pitched feedback.
It's just that I haven't turned it up loud enough. If I do, the apartment will collapse.
Other than that, neighbours will sue me.
