I havent been playing bass for very long but recently I have noticed some buzzing on my fretboard most notably on the 7th and 5th fret on the A string. Could you guys please help me out

action to low? truss rod out of adjustment? or possible since your new, you may just be plucking the strings to hard. Pluck the strings more near the bridge and not so much over the pickups.

How low is your action because if it is hitting the frets then it may be too low. Also, your neck may have bowed as it is mainly in that part of the neck so a truss rod adjustment may be needed, don't attempt that yourself though, get a professional to do it for you.

sounds like truss rod or action as the other 2 said. If the neck is bowed you may want someone to look at it cos it can take a bit of pissing around to get it right, you may fix it down one end, but then the other end does it, the you have to adjust the action, then you have to make sure it is tuning correctly....blah blah blah.
