Rock is going to be totally depleted and every mp3, CD, album, guitar, tab, etc, in any way affilitated with rock is to be destroyed and forgotten by all. But, one song could be saved. This song would be the only thing to remember the genre by. This song would represent rock forever. In a thousand years, this would be the song music teachers play to their students when studying ancient music. This is the song we're gonna take to the moon with us.

What is this song, that rock will be remembered by forever?

If I had to chose, I would say Sweet Child of Mine by Guns N Roses, but it's a very hard decision.

Rock and Roll Ain't Noise Pollution- AC/DC

I hate this song. And it doesn't tell you what rock (and roll) is, but it does one thing:

IT TELLS YOU WHAT ROCK (and roll) IS NOT.

How do you figure that piano is needed in a rock song?

there are so many different types of rock though you cant make them one song becuase they all differ unlike emo, rap, screamo and so on..

but it would either be a black sabbath song or led zeppelin
just becuase those are the two most versitile band i think out there.

something by the kinks or the beatles

maybe we'd all warp back to that sound and progress entirely differently this time.

it'd be exciting

dance dance

I hope for all that is rock that that is a joke.
Oh and also whoever said power rangers, stacys mom and fallout boy-
same response.
I'd go with something normal-guitar, bass, drums. Not stairway or anything prog or too heavy.

The End by the Beatles. It's short, but it really completely encapsulates rock and roll as a whole.
Listen to mah discs.

And coming soon, THE CLEVER DEVILS VS. THE BLONDES.
