Anyway, you should probably look at the high-output humbucker range that Dimarzio do and decide for yourself...
Maybe the Evolution, the Super Distortion, the D-Sonic, the list goes on..

Balanced tone, warm and bassy with a nice midrange but nothing ott like some of the dimarzios. It's a very versatile pickup, very good for harmonics too.

Nope, just plain old Norton, the Air Norton's different. The Norton's got plenty of bass response which is what you need for palm muting, but a good lead tone too.

I like the seymour duncan destroyer better. although some dimarzios are good good for lead guitar.... thats about it.

You could try the Dimarzio super 3.it has lots of mid so great for palm muting and ok for lead.search for it in their website.
