What's a good tube amp that's both small and low power (< 15 W or so) for getting good RHCP-style sounds? I want to be able to crank the tubes and get the best quality sound but without the mass volume.

^touch'e...

But the tiny terror can turn to 7 wattage tubed :O!!!

I've played it on it at 7, it's still very loud, but not loud enough to kill you or disturb your neighbors.

Ive always wanted to get an oragne amp, but i cant find anyone over here that has them, well in my area. How much are those things, and are there any websites that would ship to canada that have them?

Tiny Terror heads are only 500 USD, really cheap stuff. So if you can get a tiny terror and maybe an avatar cab, it won't even run you up 1,000 USD for a quality half stack.

It's a great amp, tried it out and the rocker 30 yesterday. I could barely stand the rocker 30's volume at 4...it was sooo loud, but it was awesome.

As for the tiny terror, the employees were cool, they were making jokes about it saying.

"Yeah man, go to a show, everyone's going to be like. 'Hey, what are you playing out of man!?'

'oh me? I'm playing out of this little thing', then you play out of it then WHAM, surprise factor."

But yeah, those guys know what they're talking about. It's a real simple amp, you can crank it very easily and it sounds so creamy. I really reccomend it.

edit: yeah, i've heard some great things about the epiphone valve, look into that too!

i know but for that price, just get a big one, and turn it down, i know he wants a driven sound, so get one of those power attuner(haha i jacked that spelling up) things

attenuators usually suck tone. for how much you'll be spending with a halfstack and a good one, you'd be able to afford like...a new boogie. no.

orange is good, the mini-colossal and blues junior, and the valve junior, are all good.

get whatever you want from here, basically.

Cheap amps are "that bad". They suck up your tone like cocaine at Kate Moss' party.
