any day I can help a fellow UG'er with buttcrack issues is a good day to me. Which means today is excellent.

It has to be under $100 bucks though too, the rest is being saved for a new guitar someday.

A wah is pretty much an instrument on its own.
I also recommend getting an eq if you want to get some really sweet tones.

I'm leaning towards a wah.

Electro Harmonix Memory Man, and American Big Muff=perfect sound forever
I realize. That I hate the sound of guitars

vox wahs give you more of a classical sound like hendrix or clapton (especially the clyde mccoy).... cry babys are more for modern stuff, but you could still pull of some old stuf with it.... i have a digitech hendrix workstation with wahs and distortions built in.... if you play a lot of hendrix, i definately reccomend it, its worth it IMO

Go with a wah first.

You'll find yourself trying out other things later.

A wah is like... giving you something completely new practically.
It's like a whole new instrument when you learn to use one well.

Personally I'd say go for a Vox

but go try out a few things, see what you like
its all personal preference
