Can you believe I actually found a good first act product?
I bought the first act metro-tuner for $26 and it is really sick.
The tuner is the best i've used (yes tuners do differ) and the metronome with sound and earphone jack is a neat little feature.

First Act's non-walmart guitars, especially their custom shop ones are excellent products.

Does it have LED display, with chromatic tuning? I'd personally go for a tuner that can tune wind, brass, and stringed instruments because it's a handy thing to have in band class, sometimes. Oh, and I can also tune my guitar, of course.

I personally think that First Act is pretty credible. The Wal-Mart First Act guitars seem better than those Starcasters from Target.

Yes. It says on the box tunes guitar, and other instruments, i tuned my bass and guitar without changing any settings, so i assume it will work find

Are the custom ones you get from VW good? I was just really curious.

I've read that they're decent for being made in China. I think they have some onboard effects and modeling also.
