Heres an all-day song. I played it off the top of my head and it sounded great with a soft acoustic sound. I hope you like the alternative ending (PS there is no chorus, I wanted the song to tell more of a story, rather than repeat ) EDIT: I reworked some parts that were suggested.

War of the Gods

Blue skies, Green grass, and yellow sun,
Accept the world and forget what's done,
Just look at the clouds to see the shapes,
Close your eyes as the light escapes.

The world is so perfect.

But whats that you awake to see,
Pushing through the grass of green?
A mountain of red covers the
blue skies.

High above, on the great white,
The armies have proceeded to fight,
Death, destruction, and misery
rains down on Earth.

The oceans rise,
And the skies turn black,
Space begins to shift and crack,
Alone I watch as the gods turn their backs.

It started with shouts,
Taunts from clouds.
And Ends with a reply,
And blue streak Lightining
darting though the sky.

Red skies, charred grass, and black sun,
Flee from what the gods have done,
Look into the clouds and quake,
As we try to make our last escape.

The world is ending.

High above, over the clouds,
Long past the atmos-shroud,
We can see the battle and war,
And clearly the earth shall be no more.

This war was waged without the will
Of the masses who were killed,
Short tempered gods who turned a blind eye,
I cannot stand the pain they supply.

Black skies, White stars, and a grey moon,
I hate that we had to leave so soon,
But the world is gone, all are dead,
Time for us to start again.

(SO LETS SCREW ALL NIGHT LONG!!!) Cheers!

Really good composition, the story is clear as can be, I added somethings in there (the bold words) I hope you like it with some different play of words! I look forward to more in the future.
