I have a 5150 head, and have just started using the effects loop with a super chorus, to try and get some decent cleans (distortion is great, but cleans need some help) I have the foot switch, but it doesnt seem like i can get the choruse with just the cleans (rhythym chanel) . If i turn it on (the effects loop), it sounds like the chorus is coming through on the dist?

Do any 5150 users use the effects often? Or can anyone offer any help?

Thanks.

if its a chorus pedal then you just plug it in infront of amp. guitar to pedal, pedal to amp.

No. The manual says different. It says to use the non-gain effects in the loop.

i dunno, i use chorus before. besides, who actually reads the owners manual? i rarely use anything in the loop, maybe delay or reverb, but not modulation effects.

Cheap amps are "that bad". They suck up your tone like cocaine at Kate Moss' party.
