So I just got my cube 30x and am enjoying it thoroughly. Unfortunately, I prefer not to get evicted so I need to use headphones late at night. The problem is that everything is very fuzzy and has a lot of static when I use headphones. I'm using some sennheiser (sp?) HD-280s with my cube 30x. Is it my headphones or just something I have to accept when using any headphones with amps?

Thanks in advance

i think you might bascially because EVERYthing is going straight into your ears and nowhere else so you will hear everything better. i do the same thing and get some buzz. turning off wah (if you have one) helps.

You're not going to get a good tone our of headphones, just to let you know :].

But yeah, it might be your headphones...but it's most likely...that's how it always is.

Ugh. Any headphone suggestions that might work better?

Also, if I were to run the line out from the amp into a DI unit, like a lexicon lambda / omega, etc., and then use headphones, would htat work better?

Thanks guys
