Its my Bassist birthday comming out and he needs a bass amp for practice. the rest of the band members and I were deciding to buy him one and were thinking about the line 6 low down studio 110. its the smallest of the series. i just want to know if any one has tried it. if you have then is it good? and are you able to play small gigs with it(to eliminate the pain of luging around the big one for small areas)? we play metal and a link to our music is on my sig.

modelling amps = gimicky

just my opinion but go for a proper decent amp if your pocket will stretch

whatever you get him he'll be happy i'm sure
