It looks like that powered mixer outputs 4 ohms, so you will probably have to get 2 of those 8 ohm speakers (you could check the manual to see if you could run just the one speaker, but it might be a bit odd having the sound coming from just one side of the stage) The mixer has XLR ins so that should be fine with that mic.

This isn't for a stage its just for band practice

Fair enough, I don't know if you're on a tight budget, but if that powered mixer has been designed to run a 4 ohm load (2 x 8 ohm speakers) and you give it a 4 ohm one, there is a possibility that it will a) sound crap and/or b) get damaged. Like I said, the manu's website will probably have a downloadable manual that will tell you which speaker configs are OK.
