Me and my band have tried out a few rehearsal spaces, and they all were alright, but there was one problem. We had to adapt our volume to the drummer, but then our mics always picked up the sound from the speakers, and created feedback. So basicly, we have to play with a slightly low volume singing. I was wondering if there was any list of things to do to prevent feedback. I haven't found anything useful online, does any one have some tips?
Am I posting it in the wrong forum, or doesn't anyone have tips for us?
He's talking about feedback from the mics picking up the sound from the amp.

If there a way you could either stand further away from the ams, or maybe behind the amps? That or get condenser microphones.
