I saw this tour in a very small venue. It was truly inspiring. I as about 3 feet away from three of the best bassists in the world, for a mere 15 bucks. Even my drummer husband enjoyed the whole performance. Loved Berlin and Sheehan, but my favorite was Hamm. His interweaving of Moonlight Sonata and cuts from Abbey road was beautiful and amazing.

And the cool thing was that each them made a point of interacting with the audience before the show. Like Jeff Berlin said, they were doing it for all of the bass players out there who refuse to play just root notes.

And hats off to Jude Gold and John Mader (guitarist and drummer) they managed to play with all three at an amazing level of musicianship.

Oh yes the encore was "Big Bottom" and a bass driven version of "Crossroads" that literally shook the windows of the club.

I was looking at a used Warwick Vampyre LTD 5'er for about $200. I went home to grab my wallet and came back and some jerk with an epic beard got it already..
