I'm in the process of redoing my Squier Strat and I need some suggestions for a H-H setup pickup wise. The tone i'm trying to achieve is a Mid 90's to late 90's alternative/punk tone, bands such as Weezer, Foo Fighters, Lagwagon, and Smashing Pumpkins. I'd like to be able to have a nice heavy rhythm tone but still be able to do some lead work as well. Thanks.
My Gear
Epiphone Les Paul Standard (Duncan SH-6 in bridge)
Fender 50's Stratocaster (Duncan Hotrails in bridge)
Fender Standard Telecaster (Fender SCN Pickups)
Marshall JCM 900 4500
Vox DA5

go to google and search for swineshead pickups. theyve got a great range of humbuckers and theres sound clips for all of them! there realy cheap aswell and are suppopsed to be better than seymour duncans, so look for swineshead on goolge and u wont be dissapointed. O by the way, you can get custom colours and glow in the dark ones and shit!
