thanks so much in advance...you're really helping us out!

http://www.myspace.com/alesserevil the song is called 3 years not final but if you dig it fell free to listen to the other song too!

and please post honestly even if your just posting to get a crit on yours...don't post an un-honest response just so i'll give you feedback. I will give feedback no matter what.

EDIT: i should have said this earlier, but our myspace is set to random song play so you might have to click on "3 years" so that it plays...some of you are critquing the other song haha. thanks

pretty cool , there were a certain part of the drums that was a little loud and some a lil to quiet, the solo was cool and the rythm was good, i didnt like the screamin that much, but it is tough to be a good screamer like slipknot or shaun morgan and that guy from chevelle, but none the less it was still good keep it up

It seemed really "lo-fi" to me with no mids or highs at all. The chorus in the song wasn't that bad but the rest of the song is just like "eh... heard it before" I can see the Bridge working live, but it goes on for a little too long in the recording.

Next time you record something, you should hire someone who has a clue on what they are doing.

Also why did this not start playing until about 8 seconds into the track.
I was once heavily prominent on these forums from 2004-2007, let's see how long I can stay now that I'm back.

thanks for the feedback. i think you listened the song titled "new song" not "3 years". We just haven gotten to all the edditing yet. Like getting rid of that space at the beggining. I think that we can make the quality better too, we just need to export it at a higher quality from cakewalk (which takes a really long time when the quality is all the way up)

thanks again!

You should put some sweet 3rd harmony on the metalcore riffs.

I think the metalcore riffs are kind of weak, and lack punch, maybe stick to the minor scale, it sounds like you stray from it.

I don't like your screamer either, he needs to add more bass to it.

That bass slide that comes in sounds gay, it's too long make it like a quarter note instead.

The drums don't match the riff that comes in after the clean(ish) part.

Despite a few pitch issues, I like the singer.

I like the group chanting too.

Overall good stuff, just try out the stuff I suggested and it will be an awesome song.

I have a song in the same style.

The guitar line in the intro is catchy. It is kind of lo-fi as someone said, but I like it. The melody could probably be a little catchier, but I still like it. The guitar parts are cool and so are the drums. Keep it up. Mind critting mine? https://www.ultimate-guitar.com/forum/showthread.php?t=522091

So far I like this. The vocals are pretty good and the screaming is decent. It has a lot of energy and the intro is pretty cool. The only thing is that for me the vocals seem to blend in way too much with everything else. I would like it much better if they stuck out more...maybe a little brighter sounding. other than that great job its catchy.
