i just discovered that my accoustic guiar has a battery in it and i can plug it into the amp. this may seem really stupid to you though. what settings can i put my amp on to make is sound nice like a normal unplugged accoustic guitar? i was fiddling around and can't get it right

I always use these settings:

Clean channel
Overdrive: 2
Bass: 3
Mid: 7
Treble: 7
Reverb: 4

I have active eq on my guitar though so a lot of the sound is sculpted beofre it gets to the amp.
Dave Mustain has wrote some of the most amazing solos...
That he can't actually play!
