I'd like to know people's opinions on sand. Love it or hate it, it's here to stay, so why not share your experiences, outlooks, misadventures etc. now? You've got to admit, you'll probably never ever get the chance to again.

I hate sand because it sucks ass.
I hate the beach because of sand.

I hate everything to do with sand.
The will to neither strive nor cry,
The power to feel with others give.
Calm, calm me more; nor let me die
Before I have begun to live.

-Matthew Arnold

Arguments are to be avoided; they are always vulgar and often convincing.

Pfft... if it wasn't for sand, who would fight holes and pits? Water? I don't think so.

You owe sand your life, like everyone else.

The only memorable event involving sand was a few years back when I went on holiday to the south west, Cornwall I think. We stayed in this little town and there was an old sand quarry with loads of people playing. I was at the top, and my bro dared me to run down. So I ran down, and because it was so steep, my body started going faster than my legs, and I fell head-first into a massive sand pile. I had my mouth open and everything, it was possibly my driest ever experience. Disgusting!

I hate the beach aswell, it stinks, there is always a freezing cold fine mist of water blowing right in your face, theres worms.

Beaches are bollacks.
Tears in waves, minds on fire
Nights alone by your side

Sand tastes bad....

And when I was really small, I played a game with my brothers, where we buried a plastic gun in a little playground type thing, and we lost it

This sig was too fucking big. Make it smaller next time, chief.

Sand hides crabs, and I hate crabs. Whoever came up with the idea for a small, lightning fast creature with 6 legs and knife like hands obviously didn't think that was a bad idea at the time...

But the point is: Music is too mutable, too ambiguous, too unruly to allow itself to be defined by an absolute syntax of terms. Don't bother. Live with it.
