1. Why do most shred guitarist bridge with their right hand fingers?
2. This one site said i should bridge with my right hand fingers when i sweep pick, but i found that i can't make it flow as well. Do I need to bridge?

o damnit here we go again, from my point of view a moving object shouldn't be anhored to anything unnecessary (therefore neither to the guitar), if it is to achieve the most credible movement. and it also appears to wear out your muscles and joints.
