I'm building a guitar which without pickups is coming to around £300. So i'm looking for some pickups that a quite reasonably priced.

I play mainly jazz, blues, classic rock, rock, indie. So these pickups need to be quite versatile. Ive looked at SD's but they are coming to around £70+ each.

Thanks guys and gals.

Powered By Lace humbucker.

If you can find a way to get a set they're very good for the low price. Amazing value.

i've heard that the GFS pickups at guitar fetish are actually quite good.

Cheap amps are "that bad". They suck up your tone like cocaine at Kate Moss' party.

Ive heard the same, But i want something reliable that people have tried and tested so that I can get the sound that I want in order not to waste money.

Is it worth buying a set of humbuckers or buying individuals?

EEEK triple post.

When buying GFS pickups from the site, Would I buy for example the one advertised and then the Neck pickup? If I wanted to buy a bridge and neck?

Also anybody got any GFS pickup suggestions?
