Hey I'm thinking of getting a new guitar, the Vintage V99 and I know nothing about whats good or not.

So this guitar states that it is:

Body: Eastern Poplar
Neck: Maple – Bolt On
Fingerboard: Rosewood
Scale: 24.75"/ 628mm
Frets: 22
Neck Inlays: Pearloid Crown
Tuners: Wilkinson® WJ44
Bridge: Tune-O-Matic
Pickups: Wilkinson® Double Coil x 2 (N)MWVC
(B)MWVC
Hardware: Chrome
Controls: 2 x Volume/ 2 x Tone/ 3-Way Toggle

and looks like:

so is this any good?
I've been playing around a year and vowed then when I can play at least 6 songs I'd buy one, and personally I think it looks smart.

Please help
I play rock and punk and currently have an Encore summat, not very good anyway.

you might want a new amp first. 300 pounds is around $550.

what kind of music do you play?

if its along the lines of classic rock or blues.

then you could get a squier '51 and a blues junior.

metal?

roland cube and rg321

there ya go.

well because youd always have a new amp to use, and it would sound a lot better.

i think you should do RG + Cube, unless its classic rock.
