If I ran my Yamaha electronic drum set through my Crate GT80 guitar amp, would it damage the amp??? I have another guitar amp that is better (Peavey 2x12), that I use for guitar, but when my friend and I want to jam I'll need something to plug my drums into. Also, would the drums work with a normal home stereo??? Thanks, Jake

it will work through the amp for sure, though you might want to turn the bass drum down a little. I think most of them have line outs so it should also work through a stereo.

I've done that, guitar amps tend to make E-drums sound a bit tinny - you might get better results going through a bass amp or better still a PA, if available.
