Just recently heard of these guys

I've only heard a couple of their songs but i really like them

I was thinking of getting their Retrospective "Tepid Peppermint Wonderland"

Has anyone else bought it, is it any good?

possibly one of the best movies/docs ever.

Yes Buy the CD or download the cd of their officail website. you may need a converter though!

anyway, check the third one down... and as you can see, i strongly recommend you buy the album... and you will get into it after a few listens...

I saw them on their last british tour, they played for 2 and a half hours :P

They are the band that got me into Alt./Indie Rock. They are amazing, and the song "Anenome" off Their Satanic Majesty's Second Request is incredible.

I'm going to bring this thread back from the dead because I am really into them right now. I've always been a fan of old psychedelia, but have never tried neo-psych until recently. The thing with neo-psych to me is that most of them sound pretty much the same in essence. Brian Jonestown can sound like some of these other bands, but they have much variety in their albums and across their discography. Right now, my favorite album of theirs is "Their Satanic Majesties Second Request." Although their style is derivative, when held up to the classic psych albums, the BJM hold up very well and best a lot of them.
