hey guys, iv been playing guitar for about 3 and a half years now iv only recently started sweep picking as thier is a lot of it in Trivium solos. i can play the sweeps fine but i wana find more sweep patterns out of appegios, where can i find them? or if anybody has got some good scales to sweep in let me know!

just sweep pick arppegios... take any chord that sounds cool (you've got a lot of choice here!) and sweep pick it instead of strumming it!

thats as good of advice as any.

remmeber you can also sweep scales, not just chords just work out a pattern of a scale that makes it easy for sweeping.

Yeah, sweep picking arpeggios is the way to go... try using weird chords that you don't hear often like sus4.

E minor with a b5 sounds awesome swept......

also if u play E minor with a raised 7th.... gives you harmonic minor sound sweep
