Find what key the song is in and then play the relative third. For example, looking at those notes your third for the 9 on the G string would be 12 on the same string (or G if you want to play it somewhere else).

Well I cant really understand that tab you posted because....it's not legible lol. Next time use these tags:

Now, when you harmonize in thirds, basically you're taking the second note after the note you wanna harmonize, and you play them at the same time. Another way of looking at this is by looking some shapes you might be familiar with:

E||-------||
B||-------||
G||-------||
D||--5----||
A||--7----||
E||-------||

That is a minor third.

E||-------||
B||-------||
G||-------||
D||--4----||
A||--5----||
E||-------||

That is a major third.

So basically, when you harmonize something, you're actually playing a bunch of those. You can either just play around by seeing which sequence of major and minor sound good (not recommended) or find out which scale you're playing in and take the second note after the note you wanna harmonize (it's third). For example:

You wanna harmonize these notes:

E||----------------------------------||
B||----------------------------------||
G||--------------------------11--12--||
D||--------------11--12--14----------||
A||--10--12--14----------------------||
E||----------------------------------||

As you may or may not know, that is taken
from the Major scale, or Ionian mode. Now,
to harmonize each note you count two
notes up from the note you wanna harmonize.

E||----------------------------------------------||
B||-----------------------------------------(12)-||
G||-------------------------(11)(12)-11(14)--12--||
D||---------(11)(12)-11(14)--12--14--------------||
A||--10(14)--12--14------------------------------||
E||----------------------------------------------||

*The notes in () are the thirds of each note they're next to.

I hope you kinda got the idea.

The D minor scale is:

D E F G A A# C

The first note in your tab is a G. The third note from G in D minor is A#. The next note is an A, so it should be harmonized with a C, and so on. In this case, it should be like this:

E||----------------------------------||
B||-------------------8--10--11------||
G||-----------9--10---9--10--12------||
D||---8--10--10--12------------------||
A||--10--12--------------------------||
E||----------------------------------||
