My friend's brother boxes. Be prepared to train like no ****ing other. You have to be in peak physical condition just to stay in for one round.

its also a good way to get disqualified if you hit to low, also most boxers use a crouching position to protect that area. and yes take lessons, or you will get your ass handed to you..

If you have ever boxed before you would know that, hitting certain little points is pretty hard, even if you are a skilled fighter.

aqctually its not that hard to aim for a fist sized target, but still in certain boxing leagues you would be risking disqualification if you are off by like an inch. Plus accurate hitting is a lot harder with boxing gloves, which would also decrease your acceptable margin of error.
