A guy who owns a local music shop around here is going to sell me an Ibanez pedal board, with all wires and power source included AND all of these..

CF7 Chorus / Flange
DE7 Delay / Echo
DS7 Distortion
FL9 Flanger
FZ7 Fuzz
PD Bass Distortion
PH7 Phaser
SM7 Smash Box
TS7 Tube Screamer
7th Heaven Disortion

All of this.. for $175. Absolute domination.

That a good deal, but all those pedals are really cheap. Don't expect a top quality sound from discount gear.
My Gear:
American Deluxe HSS Strat

Vintage '66 Fender Champ Amp
Dunlop Crybaby 535Q
Jekyll & Hyde Ultimate Overdrive
Vintage '74 MXR Script Phase 90

all the pedals together might be worth $200 used. it's an okay deal.

Cheap amps are "that bad". They suck up your tone like cocaine at Kate Moss' party.

That's what I was gonna say. If the board itself is good quality, though, you could change out the pedals one by one as you get the money. I'd start with the TS7.

Yah, no. You're wrong.

It isn't a "too good to be true" thing. I've known the guy on a personal level for years. I help him around the store when he asks and I've always been a good customer.

It's okay. Have fun with your crap rig.

If he doesn't use a gameshark, it's not cheating.
