Cheap amps are "that bad". They suck up your tone like cocaine at Kate Moss' party.

The original Dallas Arbiter Fuzz Face pedals aren't too hard to find, and really aren't that expensive.

So you are offering advice having never experience it yourself? Would you do a car review on a certain model having never driven it too?

WHY oh why do people insist on comments like:

"oh don't get one of those my best mates dog had one and he told me it wasn't that great"

Why bother posting. I bet you believe all you read as well. If you weren't English.........

why bother posting if you're just criticising another post?

and to not be hypocritical, yes a fuzz pedal would be very good, look into the EHX big muff

big muff is a very modern fuzz, not good for classic rock.

and the dunlop fuzz face is bad, it's a well known fact.

dallas arbiter is good, or you could build your own.

I think anybody could have figured out that I was saying you could find an original USED. Try reading it again, maybe you read it wrong.

what about teh big muff...

like i said earlier, it's meant for an edgy, modern sound. not classic rock.

uh no its not. i have one. there isnt anything modern about it...

hendrix was going to use one instead of the fuzz face, but he died before he could rig it.

and you don't think pedals change in the course of 45 years?
