I've just written and recorded a new song, would anyone care to listen? It's hosted here http://shminty.dmusic.com/

This song came about when I got frustrated trying to record another song of mine and began just messin' about. The song is about when you first fall in love with someone (or become infatuated, whatever) and although it's one of the best feelings in the world, you also have this dread that something will happen to ruin it. All the acoustic parts were played on my Tanglewood TW45, the electric was on the Strat and I even managed to get my trusty harmonica in on the act! Hope you like it

This sounds cool. It does have a beatles feel too it like the guy said. I like the vocals - very trippy. I've always wanted to fly, so it's good for me. I think you should make it like a beatles song like Lucy in the Sky or something. It sounds good, though and I like the lead guitar parts. Good job. Mind critting mine? https://www.ultimate-guitar.com/forum/showthread.php?t=522091

Some other people have said it's likes the beatles too, but I really can't see it! Of course it must be similar for people to be saying it!

Your idea is interesting gunsnroses89, I'll try messing about with the voice and the guitars

holy crap, i was listening to the beginning and i was like...i don't know if i hear the Beatles, sounds more like tom petty, but when the vox started, so did the clearness. Man, Really good stuff, you have a very cool voice. However, the production was lacking a little bit, the easiest way to clean up a lot of the sound is just panning all the instruments, put main voice slightlight left, backup vox slightly right, guitar hard right, or whatever suites you. A little EQin would also help. However for as "raw" as it is, it still sounds really awesome! keep the tunes commin!
