I'm getting either the Epiphone SG400 or the Epiphone SG400 Vintage. The Sg 400 is $400 and the Vintage is $300.Should I pay the extra 100 dollars for what ever differences there is?Are there different pick ups or anything, cheaper hardware?

Your really just paying for the looks the vintage is the same thing and IMO I like the looks of the vintage more. But yeah they're both the same your paying for cosmetics.

The pickup specs seem to be different but in all honosty I don't think stock pickups will differe att all in the Epi. guitars. So I say get the G-400 and save some cash.
