I'm selling my X V-AMP effects processor (w/c is my 1st) after buying a line 6 florpod i'm planing to sell this one for 40$ but...when i plug it in my AC on my line w/c is 12 VOLTS and my vamp uses only 9VOLTS ....when i plug it in my 9volts it won't work??? and i'm hearing effects looping ang looping w/o guitar..

does turning the wrong volt damge the effects??
how can i fix this one??

I PLug a 12 volts onto an efects thats inly 9VOLTS does it have any effect?

You likely fried the whole circuit, or at least a good portion of it. There's not much hope in repairing this one for any sort of profit. Take it as a lesson to ONLY use the proper voltages.

What is "w/c"?

I guess you could crack it open and check for a fuse. If it has a fuse, there's hope that you can replace it and hope that nothing else was fried.

If it just blew the fuse, replacing it would solve the problem.

There's no guarantee it has a fuse, though. I think most low-powered devices like that rely on the power cord to short before the rest of it does. It's worth a try though.
