Hey guys,

I'm looking for a nice tone for solos, something different than just my normal tone. I just heard "Taste the Poison" by Story of the Year, and the guitarist gets a crazy wailing tone on his solo -

How does he get it? Sounds like a lot of chorus and perhaps a mid or treble boost? Am I right? Thanks.

I'd say ickle bit of chorus, and treble's up high.
My "Rig":

Boss OD-2

treble plus a medium, narrow chorus.

So would you use an EQ pedal to set up the treble boost and then kick it in for solos along with chorus?
