Have you guys heard the On an Island, David Gilmour? And the new Roger waters album, an opera??

I like the on an island, the opera is a bit over the top.

Question: who make the better album???

Correct.

But I quite like On an Island. I never really got into Rogers solo work.
And yet, to me, what is this quintessence of dust? Man delights not me: no, nor woman neither... nor women neither.

I agree, I dont know who Roger is trying to impress doing the opera, but on an island kicks ass!

Pfft. On an Island doesn't sound much like classic rock to me.

I guess if someone from an old band releases a new album, no matter what it sounds like, it's classic rock...

on an island sucks. roger waters opera is too classical. the best roger waters solo until now is 'amused to death'. last year while speaking in an interview roger waters said he has enough rock songs written for an album, we can expect it early next year cause roger is too busy with concerts and 'ca ira' stuff this year.

The newest one I own is Division Bell. I love it.
