i'm looking to build my next bass cab (sorta)
i plan on using this cab (pre-built 4x12) http://cgi.ebay.com/412-bass-guitar-speaker-cabinet-3-4-Birch-4-12_W0QQitemZ130082307906QQihZ003QQcategoryZ121159QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
and i was wondering
would car subs work well as 12 inch bass drivers?? like somthing along these lines? http://cgi.ebay.com/TWO-GOLD-12-INCH-2400w-SUBWOOFERS-CAR-AUDIO-SUBS-WOOFER_W0QQitemZ180085467236QQihZ008QQcategoryZ18803QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
thats just an example...but i noticed how much more actual bass guitar speakers
is there a real big difference? i want it to sound good...but i also don't want to spend every last dime i have

thanks a lot

Well I've never built a bass cab, but I know for guitars you shouldn't use hifi speakers in the cabs. They have a flat response, whereas proper guitar or bass speakers have different responses that colour the sound. They're also better able to handle the signals they get from guitars or basses, which can be a bit harsher than the processed sound you play through a hifi.
