well ilove my neck humbucker (or rythmn)

but i hate my bridge humbucker...feeling experimental.... i was wondering if i took out the magnets that looked like screw would it be essentially be a single coil... i of course would not like to fry my electronics so would this be safe to mess around with? or am i a dumbass?

it won't achieve much except make it sound crappier- it certianly won't make it a single coil. by moving the pole pieces you can adjust the invividual response to each string, but removing them won't really do that much. it's mostly a dumbass move. but don't worry, it wont fry your electronics either.
