i was wondering what a good choice for a new bridge pickup would be in my SG standard. as far as tonal qualities i want more thump, but im not looking to go for active pups. i want it to sopund similiar to my les paul in terms of how it sounds, i like the neck pup though. oh yea, the pickups are the ines that came on it stock. 498t and 490r i think.

If you want to beef it up and get more warmth - pair of Dimarzio Breeds.

more thump....hmmm....well the SH-13 Dimebuckeri have in mine does exactly that. It sounds decent and gets about as good of cleans as the 498t. it has a bass, mid, treb of 6/5/8. I know alot of people seem to talk smack about it but, it is actualy really nice i think and it isn't so high of an output that it doesn't have organic qualities like the invader.

I can't quite see how a thin, trebly squealer like the Dimebucker would make an SG more Les Paul-like.
