Ok UG is a great site I come here like every day and I have always wondered, why are there no drum tabs (besides like Guitar Pro and stuff...) Does anyone know why UG doesnt offer drum tabs?

This is a guitar website.

Oh, and before you say "but they have bass tabs", bass is still a form of guitar.

I'd say it'd be a good idea to include a drumming section on UG (ultimate-music.com? ultimate-artist?) since everything's getting shut down these days.

i think they should have drum tabs.
1) it's more of a music site, there's news about rap (the grammy's)
2) what's the harm?

That article was about how there were more rap awards than rock.

Now, if I recall correctly, rock is a guitar-driven genre.

I do agree that they should include drum stuff. But until they change their name, I don't think it would be appropriate.

I guess drums would be an okay idea. But there is guitar pro as you said, why not just use that? Also, anybody know if their is a music site where free piano pieces are out. I want to learn some stuff but I don't have time to figure it out and their arn't music books on what I want to play.

why dont you start ultimate-drum then. And just because its not rock doesnt mean it cant have guitar. I mean think if Andres Segovia. Show me a rock song he played. Thats right, you cant. But the man can kick anyones ass at guitar.

then why not banjos or tenor guitars or harp guitars or guitar battente?

I haven't met a drummer who bothers with drum tabs anyways. And before you say because they can't, most of them read sheet music.

You'll have to ask Zappp that one. Banjo tabs are hardly in high demand.

Besides, drums are a percussive instrument, you don't need tabs.

Well, the drummer for my band looks at guitar pro (if we're are doing a cover song) just to get the basic idea of how the song is supposed to go. And most drummers I know can't read sheet music fluently, only drum music with their crazy beats.
