alrighty, here's the deal.

in my advanced music class we have a performance in about 5 weeks of a piece (preferably classical) that was written between 1600 and 1900.

for starters, i'm a guitarist of intermediate-ish talent, and i really prefer to play entirely solo (i.e. without a backing track), and on acoustic. my personal preference is songs that sound full and complete with just the one guitar, which usually means most of the piece is played around the bottom frets (usually with bass and melody).

to give you an example of what i'm looking for, the last piece i played for this class was Bron Yr Aur by Led Zeppelin (powertab of it http://www.ultimate-guitar.com/tabs/j/jimmy_page/bron_yr_aur_power_tab.htm), which really is exactly what i'm looking for (apart from the fact that piece is around 70 years too late).

so yeah.

thanks in advance.
