making a decision for a half stack. the two amps that i want are the new JVM401 marshall head or the dual rectifier mesa solo head. i really like both heads, but i heard mesas are built like tanks. i like the way both amps sound but id like some more opinion.

The new marshalls are absolutely amazing imo.

Is there any black people on UG?
I don't think a lot of black people play guitar anymore.

^I've heard a lot of good things about the new Marshalls as well. I'm not a fan of Dual Rectos, so I'd probably go for the Marshall.

One on left is half, one of right is full. Magic, no?

I'd go for the Mesa.

You could've at least put a better picture down

Right now, I'd go with a Mesa, mainly because you can get more sounds out of them

Have you looked into a JCM800 (I still need to try the VM series)?
