I just have a question about the solo. Basically the very end of the solo their is this really high pitched little ditty and I was wondering if it is some kind of effect or if its a technique?

It's a pinch harmonic.

You perform it by plucking the note and gently brushing the flesh of your thumb across the string, muting the dominate harmonic.
Schecter C-1 Classic (Antique Amber)
Ibanez JEM 7VWH
Crate Palamino Class A tube combo
Digitech RP80 Multieffects pedal
Ibanez TS9 DX Tube Screamer

right at the end basically dime is sliding way way up the neck, and maybe to get a real high pitched noise do a pinch harmonic and bend on the final fret.

All those notes are pinch harmonics? That's what I thought I just don't understand how he can play them that fast. Guess I have to work on them.
