just pinch them so the vacuum created when you put them in breaks so it comes off.

it is pretty awkward at first.
#12
use a hairdryer in your eye, it will hurt, but you wont need contacts afterwards!
#13
Hold your top eye lid open with your left hand, and use your right hand to kind of 'push' against the bottom of your eye, so it bends the lense and it pops out. May take some practice, but thats how I do mine :-)
#14
i find it easier to drag them down so i don't touch my pupil. but then again i only take mine out every 4 days. i hate putting them in in hate mornings

every 4 days?

fu.ck man. i'm only allowed mine in for 10 hours a day.

I pull the bottom lid of my eye right down and pinch the two sides of the contact lens together.
The two parts I pinch aren't on the pupil, but the outside of the iris.
Imagine it as pinching at 4 o clock and 8 o clock.
Then pull

Works for me.
I hope it doesn't seem, like I'm young, foolish, and green.

What the hell can anyone just buy contact lenses in America?

You can't keep them in for days you morons or they can slip behind your eyeball, and how the hell can you not know how to get them out?

You're supposed to have them prescribed by an optician not just going out and buying them.

I believe you can go out and get them, like reading glasses.

I'm pretty sure you can't in this country.

Actually, they can't slip behind the eyeball. It's not like the eye is floating in the eye socket, it's connected to your head.

Threadstarter: When i got lenses i was taught how to put them in and take them out. You should have been to.

Also, lenses are lame. You have to get up early every morning to put them in, and they itch a lot after a while (At least for me).

I just got mine yesterday. What you do is look up, slide the lens down, then pinch it off.

I literally just basically grab my eye.

It doesnt hurt at all.
Honestly.

I use both of my middle fingers to hold my eye open and on my right eye, use my right hand index and thumb and pinch my eye, basicaly (lightly)

Same for left eye, but use my left hand thumb and index (so my right hand with be over my eye, my right middle finger holding my left upper eyelid open)

I hope that was descriptive enough...

You shoudl have been taught how though.
I wasnt able to get contacts from the place until I proved to them I could get them on and off.
