Gilmour is one of the greatest ever to pick up the 6 string thing, Acknowledge it!

Personally I love the solo in "Mother". It isn't technically challenging or anything but it is a great example of what makes David Gilmour so good, he has more emotion in his playing than anyone else. And his Sax solo on "Red Sky at Night" off his new solo album is amazing.
