Im trying to get use to drop tuning. And i want to know some good drop d songs. In skill im like late beginner. kinda noobie intermediate if that makes sense haha. Kinda making the transistion.

Hey this is kind of funny, but what the hell does drop D mean? Lips of an Angel by Hinder says to drop D. Im trying to learn that song, so sure would help nowing what the hell that means. Hope I gave you a good laugh, and hope to hear from ya. LOL

If you like metalcore stuff then learn some Trivium there actually great riffs for training alternate picking.
Watch out for FLOODS exploding onto the UK Deathcore scene this summer.

Learn some Lamb of God. There's some good tabs for Laid to Rest and Ruin, both of which are worth learning. Or if you're REALLY new to guitar then learn some System of a Down---none of their stuff is in drop D it's all Db or C but it's the easiest drop tuned music out there.

Trivium's old metalcore stuff is in drop D. I think some of Underoath's stuff is in drop D and ummSome rise against some chiodos a lot of stuff actually green day fall out boy a lot of punk stuff the casualties and comeback kid

yes they are... they just recently converted there sound to more thrash like. Ascendancy and Ember to Inferno are both metalcore albums. The Crusade isnt. thats 2/3. most of it is metalcore therefore trivium = a metalcore band.
