Well, I'm going to have an acoustic set at a lunch in my school, about 25 mins long. So far, I have a few ideas as to what to play:

Red Hot Chili Peppers - Under The Bridge
An original, 1525 (click the myspace in my sig)
INXS - Mystify
Marah - Walt Whitman Bridge (http://myspace.com/marahusa it's not on there, but sounds a bit like The Closer)
Guns N Roses - Sweet Child O Mine

Any other suggestions? I'll prolly be able to only fit 1 more song, so if you have any ideas, just tell me. I'm pretty much set on those, though. Also, any tips are appreciated, this being my first show.

Edit - And does this seem like a good order to you?

I was going to suggest Plush, dammit

Perhaps try taking some typically rockin song and bringing it down a bit... I seem to recall in the infamous In The Van On Comeback Road that the writer chose Hells Bells by ACDC as an acoustic cover. Something like that could be interesting.

Is this going to be you, all by your lonesome, or with a band? Because if it's a whole band going acoustic, I'd say to rip off Korn and play "Freak On A Leash" with a girl from choir doing backup vocals. It's on decent rotation on MTV, and the kiddies get into that kind of stuff.

Plush is one of my favorite songs of all time!
I was once heavily prominent on these forums from 2004-2007, let's see how long I can stay now that I'm back.

I think stone is either 7 or 14 lbs

Edit I'm gonna go with 14 because it's rather unlikely you're 56 pounds

Thanks for the suggestions, does this order sound good to you? Also, any tips to get me ready for my first show would be appreciated. Also, to those wondering, it's going to be just me playing.
