hey im just looking into getting a guitar with emg active pick ups and was wondering
if theese HZ pups are good or as good as the preferred 81 85 . or what do theese ones sound like, i mean ive read good things but are they good actives?

If you're going to get that guitar, I would change the pups, although I prefer the 81/60 myself. The basswood will give a more sharper lead tone. Though I'm not too sure on that one.

They're not as good as 81/85's but they're better than a lot of stock pickups
