I scoured all the pages in an attempt to find a thread pertaining of this legendary band. Alas, I have succeeded. (If i haven't succeeded, then sorry about making this thread l0lz00rz)

Anyway, opinions?

Ten Commandments is absolute pwnage, not really a fan of modern stuff though.

Not very good live.
- Treat people the way you would like to be treated.
- Don't do to others what you wouldn't like others to do to you.
- Live and let live.
- Always tell the truth.
- If someone looks at you, just give them a nice smile they won't soon forget

I like the old stuff...I look at them like I do Kataklysm. I love the old stuff but the new stuff just doesn't do much for me. The Ten Commandments and Retribution are great.

They are one of the only Death Metal groups i like. Cuz i'm a Deathcore kid. Don't come here too often. I don't know them that well, because i don't have any of their stuff. But i do enjoy what iv'e heard

The modern stuff gets a lot of shit, I actually like The Will To Kill and Warkult

The Will To Kill is excellent but Warkult is tolerable at best.

I made a thread about them back in September, if you type in the band name in the search in on the second page. But none the less they are an amazing amazing band. My personal favourite in the genre of death metal.

My band played with them and they were absolutley horrible and un professional. They used Cattle Decaps drum kit, and Vaders Amps. It was pathetic. The middle age balding guys still holding on to there hair started trying to harass me and my 16 year old friends...Thats a prime example of maturity...NOT.

but yeah just stopping by to say they're horrible.

Ten commandments is a good album. i like the track "Premature Burial"
I want to go as far to the edge without going over. Out on the edge, you can see all kinds of different things.

Malevolent hatred of life, seeing death fall from the sky.
Resisting the view from my eyes,
Receiving pleasure from watching you die.

Malevolent Creation are fvcking awesome. One of the greatest Death Metal bands ever.

If only they had stopped at The Will to Kill...
Don't analyze my beliefs & I won't pick out the flaws in yours

Warkult is a good album and is better than a few of their mid career stuff.

I recently aquired The Will To Kill and Warkult and I really like it. So, I guess The Ten Commandments or Retribution should be the next purchase?

Retribution is the best. Top 10 DM album of all time

Why is it that I just discover Retribution today?

Whoever recommended me The Will to Kill must have been high, because Retribution completely blows it out of the water. Everything is so fantastic on this album. I'm tempted to say the drumming, but I can't even say that because everything else is so tight as well.

If you haven't, get The Ten Commandments as well, it's just as high quality as Retribution

Yea, it's class as well. Even though I haven't listened to it in months, just based on first impressions, Retribution seems to be the far superior one.

Is there any other Malevolent album I should I get? This is what I have so far:

Ten Commandments
Retribution
The Fine Art of Murder
The Will to Kill

Killer band with a great discography, and still going strong, though I wish they'd release a new album rather than another compilation
O what a disgrace if such a despised and base race, which worships demons, should conquer a people which has the faith of omnipotent God and is made glorious with the name of Christ!

Glance into my eyes

Playing in the desert of my life
Burning, -

I actually do like some of their new stuff. I don't have any of the new albums in their entirety though. Are they not as consistent?

MALEVOLENT CREATION Guitarist Involved In Real-Life Shootout - July 4, 2009
Guitarist Phil Fasciana of long-running Florida death metallers MALEVOLENT CREATION was reportedly involved in a bizarre shootout at a convenient store in his hometown of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. According Fasciana, he pulled into a small store at around 3:00 p.m. Friday afternoon (July 3) to get something to drink and walked right into a robbery in progress. "I went in this little store on my way home to get a chocolate milk, of all things, and little did I know, I was walking into a life-or-death situation," he says. "When I walked into the store, I did not notice anyone else in the store until someone started screaming at me and pointed a gun at me. I nearly **** myself, because the dude looked wacked out of his mind and fired four shots directly at me and I went down to the ground because I thought I was surely shot. After about 30 seconds, I realized I was not hit at all and the shooter thought I was dead or injured and started attacking the store worker when I snuck up behind the burglar and talked [to] him and took the gun out of his hands and told him to get out of the store. He then reached in his sock and pulled another gun out and pointed it at me and that's when I fired two shots into his head, killing him instantly!

"Never in my life has anything so twisted happened to me before and I would like to forget it ever happened, but I had no other choice. Lucky for me, the stupid crackhead burglar had the worst aim in the world and missed me with all four shots from about 10 feet away! Needless to say, all charges have been dropped and the store owner has offered me a lifetime of chocolate milk! Ha Ha!

"I have been in some scary situations before, but having someone shoot out you from that close and miss is a ****ing miracle and I have no remorse for killing the assailant who tried to take my life and the store owner's.

"I gotta move out of this town!! I have enough problems as it is!!

"I am very lucky and could easily be dead at this moment, but I'm not and I'm gearing up for our Mexican, South American and European headlining tour which start at the end of July.

"I would like to put this behind me and not talk about it anymore. It was the most ****ed up thing I have ever been involved with, besides my ex-girlfriend!!"
