bout 1-2 months back i brought my lovely maverick guitar (was my christmas prezzy)
Anyways last week i snapped the 1st string by acsedent. it was off for about a week b4 i had chnce to go get some more. I went and brought i beloved super slinkys and decided to change all the strings. i started with the 1st string and moved up 1 by 1.

When i finished putting them on - i noticed a horibble ratterling noise on the 6th E string!! at first i thought it was just the strings setterling in but 3 days on im a bit worried!! the sound wasnt there before i changed the strings but it is now!!!

Whats goin on??? have i wrecked it already?? will it settle in??

plz help

Because they're 9s.

The stock strings were probably 10's, therefore there's less string tension. Causing your buzz.

Don't worry about it, or just raise your action a bit.

weither you raise the action, or you give it a tross rod adjustement

Isn't that quite dangerous if you don't know what you're doing?

not really, but if you tool with the truss rod and you don't know what you're doing, then it's lethal
